Kite Aerial Photography (KAP) is a technique where kites are used to lift cameras into low-altitude positions to get unusual angles on the world. The camera is normally mounted in a rig which allows you to pan, tilt and trigger the camera. This is hung below the kite on the kite-line. 

The rig shown uses a standard Model Plane RC system and mechanical parts available from www.brooxes.com and www.kapshop.com . Our products enable:

• Shutter Release specifically with gentWIRE-USB (for RIcoh),
  but we offer a full range of RC shutter release products.
• Pan Servo operation with antiCREEP, which slows the pan rotation and stops servo creep,
• Telemetry and Altimeter data with gentVU-altiOSD
